The faces may not be as familiar, but doing what we do would not be possible without this hardworking team! Our corporate operations team consists of administration, sales, and marketing professionals who work across all locations from Lake City, Minnesota, to the operational office in Alaska, and a handful of remote locations in between. When you call John Hall’s Alaska, chances are you are speaking with someone on our corporate operations team – who continually works behind the scenes to make sure guests are ready for their big adventure by prepping documents, confirming travel details, providing helpful customer service, and much, much more

Experience, experience, experience! The astounding knowledge on this team hails from team members who were born and raised in Alaska or have spent years sharing a love for what we do and the many other destinations we travel to. These team members come to John Hall’s Alaska with a minimum of five years of expertise and a desire to deliver unique experiences outside of a normal, group, and bulk travel environment. John Hall’s Alaska’s, tour managers, representatives, and drivers from Alaska and Minnesota play a vital role and we would be remiss if we didn’t mention their “can do” attitude, survival and emergency training, and genuine bonding nature with guests and other John Hall’s Alaska representatives. You are in good hands!


Long before a tour departs, the tour operations team is hard at work planning, inspecting, and crafting the logistics of our exclusive, top-notch tours. And it doesn’t end there. It takes months before guests travel to carefully perfect the final tour operation details needed, plus constant oversight from the time a guest arrives for their tour, to the time they depart – including important specifics such as airport pick up, prepping the motor coaches, and working with our activities, meals, and lodging partners. This is the team who gets the wheels rolling and keeps them in motion with a strong focus on a guest experience that matches no other. Relax and travel with confidence in the hands of this team!

With over 100 years of combined experience in tourism, between John Sr., Joseph, Elizabeth, and John Jr., the entire Hall family remains actively involved in the business. It is not uncommon to encounter a Hall family member handling luggage, driving a bus, personally interacting with partners, or serving as chief cheerleader when it comes to passion for what we do! The Hall’s aim is to focus on the family environment among the team and guests, as well as, on creating unique guest experiences.
